The teaser

Three paper balls. One gap. Your move.

You played this at school, with crumpled paper on a desk. Gapball brings the game to your phone: quick matches, a computer that gets a little better every level, and a friend across the table.

Teaser, 10 seconds. The sound starts muted.

How it plays

Learn it in about a minute.

The real rules from the school desk. Every move goes through the gap, goals too.

  1. A match on squared paper: a dashed line shows the gap between two balls, and the third ball rolls across it.
Swipe through the gapSwipe one of your 3 paper balls through the gap between your other two.
  2. The word Through! on the paper pitch after a ball has rolled through the gap.
Through? Go again.Your turn goes on with another ball. Miss the gap, roll off the page or touch your own ball, and it ends.
  3. A red GOAL! stamp on the pitch and the line In off the post!, with the score at 1:1.
Score from their halfA goal counts only if the ball went through your gap first. First to 3 goals wins, or the most after 2 minutes.
  4. The end card after a win: You win 2:1, Level 8!, a new title and a new arena.
Win, go up a levelEach win takes you one level up and can open a new arena, ball or title. Your level never goes down.
